About the Predator WSK

Dave Beck
The Predator WSK is directly inspired from the craftsmanship of Dave Beck. Dave's WSK knife has truly made an impact upon the Wilderness community as well as the Military. You may have recognized it from its appearance in the movie "The Hunted". We were inspired to create something to bring his design to the masses. All of Beck's designs were custom made and out of price ranges of most people who actually need this type of knife. Currently, the Beck WSK sells anywhere from $1500-$3500. We have produced a similar design after Mr. Beck released his design to public domain. Since he no longer produces the knife, Mr. Beck did this to preserve his influence of design in the knife making market.
Predator WSK
We have limited The Predator WSK design to 1,000 serial numbered units. The Predator WSK is not a copy but is an original rendition. A close look will reveal that The Predator WSK is actually quite different from the Beck WSK. It was only after the production of the Predator WSK that I had the chance to hold an original Dave Beck WSK.
Since launching the Predator WSK we have sold in over 12 different countries and we are looking forward to an exciting adventure ahead.
Making of the Predator WSK
We named it the "PREDATOR" because although a useful tool, this knife is designed to enable the user to take down prey through a direct means or an enabling tool to construct traps and snares. So we have gone forward with this ideology. We have many ideas and variations but this design is true to the inspiration by the custom makers. I have limited production to only 1000 of these knives. We have manufactured the Predator WSK from 440C Stainless Steel with Rockwell hardness of 57-59. The handles are linen micarta. The hidden screw fasteners allow the options to customize the handle scales if they wish.. The knife is well balanced right at the top of handle scales. This knife is 13" of pure PREDATOR intimidation.
We worked with a couple of close friends who were engineers and we used Pro/ENGINEER software to create a 3D image and CAD drawing of it. We had 4 prototypes made and due to the quality of the knife We instantly had people asking me to make them one of their own, so Red Scorpion Six - Blades evolved and I made the decision to take this knife into production.
